Below is the Bozoball Community Member Code of Conduct. Please read through carefully and agree before coming out to play. Tap the button below to provide your consent online.
1) Community first – I recognize that this is a community pickup soccer game where people of various ages, skill levels, and abilities are welcome to participate. I will play my part in being positive, encouraging, and welcoming of new community members and to make our pickup games a safe and respectful space.
2) I am responsible for my safety and the safety of others – Our goal is to promote a fun and competitive environment so long as we are safe, respectful, and inclusive of the range of skill levels. We do not allow slide tackling or rough play. If someone is injured or fouled, we expect play to stop and for those close by to help them up and make sure they are OK. We expect that players will use their best judgement and be supportive teammates and role models for younger or less experienced players on the field. We expect all community members to participate in promoting a safe and fun game.
3) Bozoball leadership reserves the right to ask players to leave the field who are in violation of the code of conduct. Hate speech, verbal or physical aggression, sexual harassment, or violent behavior will not be tolerated and, if necessary, will be reported to the relevant authorities.
4) Players under the age of 18 must have a conversation with a Bozoball Board Member and liability waiver signed by a parent before they are allowed to step onto the field. Bozoball leadership would like to ensure that our environment is a good fit for the player and that they are clear on the community member code of conduct and rules.
5) I understand that Bozoball is not responsible for any injuries I incur as a participant. By participating in Bozoball soccer, including warming up, practicing or playing soccer, I hereby agree to hold Bozoball and its directors, officers and participants harmless from any and all liability, actions, causes of action, debts, claims or demands of any kind and nature whatsoever which may arise by or in connection with my participation in any of these activities. The terms hereof shall serve as a release for my heirs, estate, executor, administrator, assignees and for all members of my family.
Bozoball offers drop-in fees, annual or seasonal subscriptions, bartering, and financial support to ensure that all players are welcome.
