❄️ Winter Bozo Update ❄️
Welcome to your brief update on Winter Bozo Ball.
We continue to have a single organized game every week on Sunday. The turf field at the high school has been secured through December. As we move into January and later, we may have to occasionally change fields to make way for other games that will have priority on the turf.
Keep checking back here, or sign into our WhatsApp community for the latest announcements.
Remember: we play rain, snow, or shine; it’s $5 a game; bring a dark and a light shirt—never gray.

🚨 Sunday Bozo Change 🚨
This Sunday, August 17th, Our regular Bozo Ball game will not be at the high school turf field. Our local youth tournament, Island Cup will be using nearly all of the fields on the island throughout the weekend.
Instead, we will gather at Battle Point Park at the usual time. Our hope is that the turf fields are unoccupied. In the event they are not we will try to find a spot on the grass nearby.
Remember to bring a white and non-white shirt and try out our new digital payment options for the regular $5 fee.

🚨 Thursday Bozo Update 🚨
We have some important news about the Thursday pickup game. Beginning in August the official Thursday Bozo game will no longer be scheduled. We are required to rent the field and carry insurance for the this game and there hasn’t been enough paying support on Thursdays to make this economically feasible. In addition, the high school grass field will be unavailable for most of August.
If you are interested in organizing or participating in an informal game on Thursdays, please join our WhatsApp community and chat to coordinate with other like-minded footy enthusiasts. Locations such as Battle Point Park have been discussed as a possible alternative.

🚨 Thursday Field Change 🚨
The grass field at X̌alilc Elementary has garnered a lot of complaints as our dry weather has continued and the field has begun to resemble the 🌖. For now, Thursday games are moving back to the high school grass behind the turf, until later this summer. Keep checking here or on Facebook for updates for where the Thursday game will be in August when this field will no longer be available to us.

Reminder– Sunday Bozo on the Grass 🌱
Bozo fans, don’t forget that our normal spot on the high school turf is not available this Sunday. We’ll be playing on the grass behind the baseball field at the high school instead.
Congratulations to all the recent grads.

☀️ Summer Bozo Updates ☀️
Thursday Bozo
The informal Thursday evening pick-up game is back in action. Usually played on the grass behind the high school turf field, the game will be moving to a new location with a reserved field starting next week. The quality of the field and guaranteed reservation should make the Thursday game more consistent and enjoyable. The field at x̌alilc turned out to be just too uneven and rough as the drier weather set in. For now we have moved back to the high school grass near the turf. Keep watching here for an update to the location in August.

Sunday Bozo
The primary Sunday game continues with record attendance at our regular spot at the high school. There are a couple of conflicts with the turf field later this summer that will move us to the grass field at Ordway Elementary, just behind the high school.
Because of the increased attendance leading to single games that are often 20 vs 20 or larger, we plan to setup two fields consistently. Please be supportive and proactive by moving to the second field when arriving after things kick-off. As always, don’t forget to pay the $5 per game fee and bring a white and a dark shirt.

Thursday Game is Back!
With the longer days and earlier daylight, informal Thursday Bozo Ball is back. This casual game will continue until we lose the evening daylight in Fall.
April – Fall
Bainbridge High School Grass
Thursdays, 5:30 – 7pm
Normally, the game is in the grass field just northwest of the high school turf. Occasionally, we will use the turf in the rare event it is available. This field is often muddy, so be sure to think about appropriate footwear. 👟⚽️
